I am a Rock Hill native. I have been married to my husband Jae for almost 9 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters.
I was an elementary school teacher in South Korea. I was also a preschool Sunday school teacher for many years. Preschool is by far my favorite age to teach. I love watching these sweet children learn and grow.
I am so excited to be a part of the ODS team! My youngest currently attends ODS and she loves it!
In my free time, I love to bake especially with my girls. I am also active at my oldest daughters school. Whenever my family and I have a chance we go to the beach. The beach is our favorite place to visit!
My favorite memory verse is: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 NIV

I was born and raised in Rock Hill. After graduation from Northwestern High School, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science with my specialization being Early Intervention (Birth - 3 years old).
I have been married to my husband, Travis, for 14 years. We have two amazing children, Natalie (13) and Lucas (3). We also have a really cute yorkie pup named Scout (4).
I am so excited to teach preschool because kids are my passion. Watching them learn and grow fills my heart in ways I can’t explain. I love seeing their little minds expand and their BIG personalities develop.
My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. We love going on adventures, watching movies, and trying new foods. We recently found Alley 51 Food Hall in Pineville and we are obsessed! When I am not with my family, I enjoy going to estate sales to find vintage Pyrex to add to my collection and reading suspense thrillers.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 12 years and mama of 3 girls, Bellamy (11), Hollis (9), and Isla (4). As a family we love visiting new places, playing outside in the snow or any body of water, and trying to make each other laugh by being as goofy as possible.
I enjoy interior decorating, working out, and spending time with my family.
I love teaching preschool because of the sweet nature of the students. At their young age I have the privilege of planting the seed and teaching things they’ll carry for life. I also get to help children explore and succeed as well as witness incredible achievements such as, “I did it!” in the end.
My favorite verse is Psalm 46:10. “Be still and know that I am God.” As simple as this verse is, I can relate to it in so many different ways. If I feel overwhelmed whether in my professional life or personal life, if I simply stop talking and start listening instead, I can feel a sense of peace come over me.

I’ve been married to my husband, Chris, 19 years! We have twin 15 year old boys, Bailey and Carter; and a silly cat named Tom. Bailey and Carter are in 10th grade at Rock Hill High. I was a music teacher in Rock Hill Schools for 17 years!
Besides spending time with my family, I LOVE to sing! I enjoy singing in choir here at Oakland, helping with the children’s music ministry, and performing with Showtime Theatre Company. I also love to be creative making T-Shirts and with my nail polish business!
I am excited to join the ODS family this year! I went to Preschool here MANY years ago, and my boys went to summer camps when they were little. I can’t wait to have fun with all of the children here this year!
My favorite Bible verse is Esther 4:14. “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.” This has always been a special verse, because I believe God has made all of us for a purpose. We all have trials, and there are times everyday that allow us to show God’s love to a world in need of God’s love!
