Lead Teacher | Curriculum Coach
I have been married for 25 years to my husband, Phil. We have 3 amazing children - Cody, Christopher, and Madison.
I became a preschool teacher because I have a passion for working with young children. My goal is to help them develop a love of learning. It is amazing to watch as a child is able to do something for the first time! I love seeing their confidence soar! The best part of my job is the unconditional love from the children.
My favorite verse is "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart who serves in the US Army. We currently live in Rock Hill and have three wonderful children: Eyan, Emelia, and Elayna. We are a proud military family!
I am a preschool teacher because of my love for children. I enjoy working at ODS because it feels like an extension to my organic family, and we all grow together in the word of God. I love being able to watch the children that attend our school prosper and learn new things. Being able to witness their excitement towards learning firsthand brings me great joy. I know, without a shadow of doubt, that this is where God has intended for me to be.
My hobbies include, spending time with my family, going to the Beach, and trying new recipes. I also enjoy volunteering in the Family Readiness Group that supports SC National Guard Service Members.
My favorite Bible Verse is:
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

My husband, Jason, and I have been married since 2000. We have 2 boys and 1 girls - 2 sons of thunder and the lightening:)!
I love the preschool setting because not only are we teaching our children about their letters, numbers, colors, and the world around them, but we are getting to do it in this wonderful, nurturing environment that is also instilling in them the love of Christ Jesus. I love watching our children grow in confidence in their abilities and in who they are. It is fun seeing each of their own talents and personalities emerge, and witnessing their excitement over learnign somethign new. They are fun and funny!
My favorite scripture is Isaiah 43.

I am originally from Maryland but have created a family here in South Carolina with my wonderful husband. We have two sons - Taylor and Cameron.
Although it is my first year at Oakland, becoming a teacher has always been a large part of my heart. I love the fact that I am able to step into a classroom every day and help shape the little minds of our future. I am eager to learn, grow, laugh and most importantly make a positive impact on this world with your children.
In my free time you can find me at Burn Bootcamp; I absolutely love working out. One of my biggest joys is travelling and exploring new places and cultures with my family.
My favorite bible verse is “Trust in the lord with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding”
