Michelle pierce

Lead Teacher

My husband Brian and I have a combined family of five children: Emmalyn, age 6; Aiden, age 11, Caleb, age 19; Noah, age 22, and his wife Cheyanne. Our oldest three are in college, and our younger two attend school here in Rock Hill. Brian is a senior superintendent for JE Dunn Construction Company in Charlotte, NC. We also have four fur babies. I affectionately refer to my house as “the zoo”. There is definitely never a dull moment!

I am originally from North Myrtle Beach, SC. My parents, brother, and grandmother still live in the area, and we love to visit!

I am a preschool teacher because I truly enjoy young children. The growth in both personality and ability in children age birth through five is amazing to watch as it develops.

My favorite part of being a teacher of any age is seeing the look on their face or in their eyes when they accomplish something new. Whether it be learning to walk or writing their name, the joy that they have is so special.

My favorite verse is "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25

Rachel Hart

Assistant Teacher

I have been married for 6 years to my husband, James, who I went to high school with. We have two children - Hannah Lee and Asher.

I am a preschool teacher because I love this age, and watching the progress made by the end of the school year. It is a very fulfilling role, and it is a lot of fun too!

I love the atmosphere of children eager to learn, play, and explore. It really inspires me and gives me so much joy!

My favorite verse is "The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need." Psalms 23:1
